Ghost of the Walls 2008

“Ghost of the Walls” is a crtical homage to the murals that were created during the “Black Arts Movement” that have been destroyed, painted over or otherwise no longer exist. Projected on the exterior of a 3 story building in North Minneapolis.

Ghost of the Walls in Situ 2008

“Ghost of the Walls” was projected on the side of a 3 and half story building in North Minneapolis. This particular location had been the site of one the largest riots in Minneapolis during the 1960’s. Coincidentally the piece was projected at the very same hour of the first Obama/McCain debate which could be heard from passing cars and open apartment windows.
